I arrived at the concert at 3:30 pm without knowing the schedule, only to find the place nearly empty. After searching extensively, a list of artists/bands for the event was nowhere to be found. The concert kicked off at 1 pm on a scorching Saturday afternoon in Texas. We were disappointed to see only Drowning Pool performing, and I wished they had drowned and we had the pool to cool off in. Upon discovering that Daughtry was scheduled for 7:15 and Violent Vira at 9:15, we opted to explore the air-conditioned area beneath the suites. Unfortunately, there were no available tables, and drinks were only available if we could find seating. We inquired about leaving to grab food across the street and returning later, but were informed that NO RE-ENTRY was allowed under any circumstances. It seemed like they wanted to trap us into purchasing their expensive food and $11 beer. Disheartened, we wasted $150 and departed prematurely. Although the later bands may have been fantastic, we missed out due to the unreasonable policies enforced by the management at Pizza Hut Park.
